Orders & fulfilment

Receiving, confirming and fulfilling orders.

What happens when I receive a new order?

It appears under Orders in your portal and is marked as not yet opened, so it is easy to see what is new. Each order belongs to you alone — a buyer who bought from three suppliers has three separate orders.

How long do I have to confirm an order?

Confirm as soon as you can: the buyer sees the order waiting on you until you do, and the lead time shown on your products is the promise they are holding you to.

How do I update an order status?

Open the order and move it along as the work happens — confirmed, preparing, ready for pick up, out for delivery, delivered. Every change is stamped with its time and the buyer sees it.

What happens if I cannot fulfil an order?

Reject the line you cannot supply and say why. The stock goes straight back on your shelf and the buyer is told, rather than waiting for a delivery that is not coming.

Can I partially fulfil an order?

Yes. Accept the lines you can supply and reject the ones you cannot; the order is marked as partially fulfilled and only the rejected lines go back into stock.
